CLOVER

Set up your Clover Station

 

  • 1. Connect Cash Drawer cable to bottom of cash drawer, and place cash drawer where you intend on having it located in your business.
  • 2. Flip the Touchscreen Display upside down and remove the plastic feet protectors
  • 3. Take the display cable coming from the receipt printer, labeled green with the display icon, and plug it into the bottom of the display
  • 4. Set the Display right-side up
  • 5. Connect all cords to Clover Station Printer in the following order:
    IMPORTANT: DO NOT PLUG THE POWER CORD INTO THE POWER OUTLET UNTIL INSTRUCTED
    1. – Insert the power cord into the Clover Station Printer’s orange port first
    2. – Plug the display cable into the Clover Station Printer’s green port next (The end with the finger hold and printer icon goes into the port)
    3. – Next, plug in your ethernet connection into the purple port (we recommend connecting Clover Station via ethernet over wireless, for faster transaction authorization and data transmission)
    4. – Plug your Cash Drawer cable into the blue port
    5. – Any USB devices you may want to plug into the station, plug into the grey ports.
  • 6. Flip the Clover Station Printer right-side up, being sure to guide the display cable to the left
  • 7. If you’re connecting to the internet via ethernet, ensure the cable is connected to your router, and your internet is working properly
  • 8. Attach the power cord to the power brick and plug the power cord into an outlet.
    NOTE: Always use an Uninterruptible Power Supply to maintain power to the Clover Station & protect it from power surges. The Clover Station has no battery power, if the unit loses power it will turn off immediately, the unit will power on automatically. There is no power switch.
  • 9. While the station is powering on, remove the screen protector. Within 10 seconds, the Clover logo will appear on the touchscreen.

 

Set up Clover for your business

 

  1. 1. Clover will attempt to recognize your internet connection. If you’re connected to the internet through your ethernet cable, tap the Check Connection button to confirm you’re properly connected.
  2. 2. If you’re connecting via wireless, you’ll tap the Use Wireless Instead button, and follow the prompts
  3. 3. Once the internet connection is functioning properly, you’ll see a screen welcoming your business to Clover. Tap Continue.
  4. 4. On the Activation Screen, you’ll see the Clover ID for your station. Should you have technical problems & need to call support, you’ll need this number.
  5. 5. You’ll be prompted to enter the activation code you received via email fromsupport@clover.com

Once verified, you’ll be taken to the next screen to set up your printer.

Set up Apple Pay

 

You can start using Apple Pay as soon as you add a credit or debit card to Passbook. Here’s what you need to get started:

  • iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus (Apple Pay in stores and within apps)
  • iPad Air 2 or iPad mini 3 (Apple Pay within apps)
  • iOS 8.1 or later
  • United States as your selected region
  • Touch ID or passcode on your device
  • iCloud account
  • Supported card from a participating bank
